INSTALLATION
Steps for Installing and Removing the Nex® Sign Support System
To begin the installation process, place the drive cap in the opening of the anchor.  
Using a power driver or sledge hammer, drive the anchor into the ground flush with the surface or you can leave the anchor one or two inches above the ground. Remove drive cap from anchor.
  
Place the NEX® Tube into the anchor approximately 8 to 12 inches with the flat sides of the Nex Tube against the sides of the anchor as shown.  

Install the NEX® Wedge between the anchor and the Nex Post. Using a hammer drive the wedge in two inches or until it stops.

  
DONE !

You have just completed installation of the NEX® Sign Support System.

REMOVAL
Using a slide hammer, the NEX® post can be easily removed. Simply place the slide hammer hook into the slot on the wedge.  

Remove the wedge by pulling up on the slide handle until the wedge is loose.

Once the wedge is removed, lift the NEX® post out of the anchor.

DONE !

Removal takes very little effort and time, but is virtually impossible without the use of a slide hammer.
